Today I was treated to a full valet of my car by The Car Cleanser at my home in Chesterfield. I was gifted this service in exchange for a review but all views are my own. [AD]

You might recall that earlier in the summer, I test drove the new Mini Electric. Ever since then, I’ve not been quite as enamoured with my own car, to the point that recently we’ve begun seriously looking for a new car. I say we. My long suffering husband spent hours putting together a most comprehensive spreadsheet whilst I specified paint colours and the importance of a good cup holder…. Anyway, the point being, I really had fallen out of love with my car.
It’s my own fault. I really have neglected it. I’ve scraped it. I regularly spill coffee all over it. I eat inside it far too often. Plus I have a young child. So that just automatically trebles the mess… (that’s my excuse anyway).
Anyway, this conveniently coincided with Mark from The Car Cleanser contacting me to see whether I’d be interested in reviewing his service in exchange for some promotion on my social media channels. Putting aside the obvious embarrassment and shame at how disgusting I’d let the car become, I pretty much leapt at the opportunity.

Based in Bolsover, Chesterfield, The Car Cleanser offers professional mobile valeting at home or work all over Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and North Leicestershire. They are fully insured and provide a premium service. Mark is adamant there is “no such thing as ‘a quick wash'”. He’s a perfectionist and passionate about providing a great service using the best products.

What I thought of the mobile car valeting service from The Car Cleanser
I was genuinely thrilled to bits with the results Mark got from my filthy little car. It was honestly like seeing a brand new vehicle and feels like such a huge treat.
I had “the full cleanse” which is the most comprehensive service offered by The Car Cleanser. Described on their website as a “luxury decontamination” which was most needed in my case! This involves a full exterior cleanse, including engine bay clean and deep clean of wheels together with a full interior cleanse, with seats cleaned and treated, floor carpets and mats deep cleaned. All using premium products. This costs from £140. However, prices start at £25 for an exterior cleanse. I honestly think that for the quality of results, the level of service and the convenience of it being a mobile service, done by a local, ethical company that the price represents excellent value. What I loved most about having a car valet at home was that I could just crack on with my day. I always find car wash places excruciatingly awkward. And that’s before I start worrying whether the workers are being paid properly and so on… I would much rather pay a bit more for a premium, legitimate service. And the results from Mark at The Car Cleanser were spot on. Highly recommend!
