Elf Trail at Shipley Country Park, Heanor
Daily until Sunday 8th January 2022 (except Christmas Day), 10.30am-2pm.
Family friendly Christmas themed trail. Find the clue cards to help you complete the Elf’s activity sheet and receive a certificate! 1-2 miles. Cost: £1.50 per child. No booking required. Turn up any time. Self-led activity.

Thanks for the information about the Gaia display at the cathedral being on today 1st October .. driven down from Sheffield to finds it’s closed for the day for private do .. a place of worship closed for a folk festival … really ?

I can understand how frustrating that must have been. As stated in the introduction the information was provided in good faith & we always recommend double checking details before travelling. I can see that Derby Cathedral has published more detailed guidance on their opening times since this blog post was last updated. I’ll incorporate that now. Unfortunately we are a very small team and have no capacity to find updates like this if the venue/organisers don’t contact us directly. Appreciate that doesn’t help your wasted journey but please do accept my apologies.
