[AD] What I love about Pub Tours is the genuine commitment and passion for showcasing and supporting rural pubs. The business was founded for this specific purpose, and ultimately that benefits us all.
Pub Tours was the Peak District’s first dedicated pub tour company and offers a fascinating tour of the region’s most highly recommended pubs and bars. Guests enjoy VIP treatment including reserved seating and a choice of drink in each of the six pubs, before being chauffeured to the next destination – all whilst enjoying knowledgeable narration from an experienced host and tour guide.
The business was founded by Emily Williamson, who grew up in the Peaks before a globe-trotting career in hospitality. Emily now resides back in the area. A widowed mum of three, Emily is passionate that the tours are welcoming for all, including solo travellers. Her vast experience of hospitality, and a genuine love and appreciation for British pubs has proved a winning combination.
This unique experience has proved particularly popular with tourists from overseas who are fascinated with pub heritage and its role in British culture.
