[AD] The award-winning Snowman Tour is returning to Derbyshire this December, with scintillating performances in both Derby and Buxton.
Make it a Christmas to remember, with a special screening of the much loved family favourite, The Snowman, accompanied by a live orchestra. Presented by Carrot Productions, the world’s leading performers, their captivating show features some of the UK’s finest musicians.
This magical, nostalgic production is a fitting way to celebrate the festive season and create cherished memories for the whole family. Young and old alike will delight in the heart warming tale accompanied by breath-taking music.
Including Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers
Alongside The Snowman film, a whistle-stop Christmas guide to the orchestra and a visit from the Snowman himself, join everyone’s favourite cheese-loving inventor, Wallace and his trusty companion, Gromit in Aardman’s multi award-winning film, The Wrong Trousers (featuring one of the most iconic train chase sequence ever created).

Derbyshire venues for The Snowman Tour 2023
Catch The Snowman Tour in Derby on Thursday 30th November or Friday 1st December, in the stunning, modern setting of Reach Events, with state of the art audio visual and lighting equipment. This venue is fully accessible with hearing loop, and there is a SEND Relaxed daytime performance on Friday 1st December. Reach Events is situated on Pride Park, just off the A52 in the city centre and is easily accessible by road, rail or bike.
The Snowman Tour then leaves for a national tour, before returning to Buxton in the High Peak area of Derbyshire on 14th December. This time, the performance enjoys the atmospheric, historical setting of The Octagon Concert Hall in the Pavilion Gardens, an iconic, Grade-II building with a charming doom roof, originally constructed in the 1870s and benefitting from a multi-million pound renovation.
