Lovely Local Indie is a celebration of the very best independents to eat, drink, stay and shop in Derbyshire and just beyond. It’s a go-to resource for the best of what’s going on locally, promotes local talent and showcases the best small businesses.
My long term vision for Lovely Local Indie is to focus on higher quality editorial content accompanied by a smaller number of adverts from tried and trusted, fabulous independents.

Seasonal Sponsorship
Seasonal Sponsorship will be an opportunity to officially partner with Lovely Local Indie and @mollyinderbyshire on Instagram to sponsor a season of my content.
There’s obviously lots of commercial benefits to the businesses involved but I really want this to be beneficial for everyone – particularly YOU, my lovely readers. I never, ever take it for granted that you take time out of your day to read this blog or follow me on social media.
It’s really important to me that the reviews and recommendations I publish are authentic. If I recommend somewhere, it’s because I’d happily spend my own money there – or I’d feel confident recommending it to a close friend. That’s true for any brand that I mention anywhere, but it’s even more important to me that I only formally align myself with brands that I sincerely rate highly.
There will be a limited number of opportunities per season to formally collaborate with me as a ‘Brand I Love’. Sponsors enjoy a range of promotion but, rest assured, won’t have any editorial influence over the rest of the blog.
I hope this strikes the right balance of keeping the blog a free to access resource that readers want to read.
The best Derbyshire brands
I’ve already got three wonderful brands lined up as Spring 24 sponsors: The gorgeously eclectic Hobbs Café at Monsal Head, multi-award winning Pub Tours and Peak Net Web Design.
